Ministries of Project Hope

Prison Ministry – We send a team every Tuesday to the North Idaho Correctional Institute and every Sunday to the Idaho Correctional Institution – Orofino, to teach the Celebrate Recovery principals.

Latah County Jail Ministry – Twice a week we send a person into our local jail to lead Bible studies.

Financial Help to Rehab – We collect funds to help local residents go to the Good Samaritan rehabilitation program in Coeur d’Alene. Idaho. This program has been helping men and women for the last several years. Over 1800 guys have gone through it to date. When individuals are in need to intensive in-patient treatment, most of the churches in the area send folks to “Good Sam.” The men’s program is 60 days and the women’s program is 120 days. For the full story on Good Sam, the Altar Church and Pastor Tim Remington, we heartily recommend their new book, Shotgun Witness. It not only details God’s miraculous protection of Pastor Tim who was shot by six 45 caliber, hollow point bullets, but it tells Tim’s story and several success stories of those the Lord has brought to them. Recently Project Hope has received requests from guys coming out of NICI in Cottonwood to attend their recovery program. Thus far we have sponsored three men, two who are currently going through the program and one who will be starting soon. Please pray for wisdom and discernment on sponsorship opportunities as well as funding for those who want to attend. We may be able to partner with other churches who decide to allocate funds each year for this purpose.

Sober Living – We are excited to let you know we now have our first participant at the Joshua House. He recently completed the rehab program at Good Samaritan and moved in on his arrival back in Moscow. He was able to encounter Jesus as his Savior in Coeur d’Alene and now looks forward to walking it out in community in Moscow.
